Home Park Partners
Friends of Georgetown Waterfront Park Business Roundtable

For nearly 30 years, dedicated citizens have worked to transform Georgetown’s neglected front yard into a beautiful national park. Now that the dirt is finally flying, park partners are working to spread the word about this exciting development. Residents, university students, and visitors will soon have the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of exercise or relaxation at the river’s edge when they visit Georgetown Waterfront Park.

Park advocates and community leaders have joined forces with the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation to achieve a common goal: to complete Georgetown Waterfront Park and add it to the growing list of great outdoor destinations in the Washington area.

We welcome and encourage new advocates and partners. Join us now.

Support from community developers, corporations, property owners, and businesses with a vested interest in the park is an important part of this campaign. Park partners meet regularly with representatives of the private sector to discuss the park’s progress and the impact it can have on the economic vitality of lower Georgetown.
